ODM signs agreement with CRM.COM
On Digital Media (ODM), the South Africa based TV broadcaster which will be launching full Pay TV services in South Africa in May, announced today that it has signed an agreement with CRM.COM Software Ltd to provide its CRM and Billing software for its DTH satellite television platform. ODM has identified an untapped market of 3.8 million potential customers who they say will be able to afford their new tailor-made packages and highly competitive decoder prices. Its CEO, Vino Govender says, in line with the government directive to introduce competition, we will offer the South African public more choice and affordable viewing experiences."
CRM.COM Software will provide full automation of ODM’s customer care and billing processes and will be linked with the warehouse processes of its distributors and retailers. In addition the CRM.COM Software will be integrated to the existing technology platforms of ODM and especially the NDS conditional access platform. CRM.COM and ODM have already begun the implementation of the project and Andros Papageorgiou, CEO of CRM.COM commented, “We are committed to keeping the strict and aggressive project timelines and help ODM start servicing and billing live subscribers before mid year 2010”.
